Windham Soccer Association (WSA) is a private youth soccer club working to promote soccer in Windham, NH and the surrounding towns. We are funded by membership dues and donations.
Our work would not be possible without our volunteers. Please contact a Board Member if you would like to help!
Please enjoy your visit to our site and feel free to contact us with your comments or queries.
~BOD Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month. Annual Meeting to include amendment(s) to the articles of agreement is normally held the second Wednesday in June. Please contact a member of the BOD with any questions or for more information~
Being respectful is one of the soccer values we teach our players, and part of that means demonstrating good sportsmanship ON and OFF the field.
Whether playing the game or cheering from the sidelines, it is a fundamental part of developing as an athlete. We are lucky to live in a town that provides opportunities to play in fantastic facilities, with well cared for equipment, with the help of professional coaches and trainers, while so many others do not have the same opportunities. Let’s help set a positive example for our players and show them how to give back to a sport they love by supporting our U9 Girls Travel Team as they hold a Soccer Equipment Drive!!
Our WSA U9 Girls Travel Teams have become official collectors of the US Soccer Federation's PASSBACK program, which collects and redistributes new and gently used soccer equipment to underserved populations.
The Equipment Drive will take place at Griffin Park on Saturday, June 15th, from 830am to 1200pm. Items that the Young Ladies will be collecting:
- Jerseys and Shorts
- Goalkeeper Jerseys, Pants, and Shorts
- Goalkeeper Gloves
- Shin Guards and Socks
- Soccer Balls
The players, their coaches, and their families will be posting signs that they make, will be working the collection booth the day of the event, and will be inventorying and packing up all the collected items to be shipped to the collection centers!
Please help support the WSA U9 Girls Travel Teams as they work to give back, show their sportsmanship, and support underserved youth soccer players! Bring down your player's outgrown cleats, their two-sizes-too-small soccer gear, and any other gently used soccer gear you no longer need and support a truly worthy cause and a GREAT group of caring Young Ladies!

That's right folks! It's hard to believe but we're already thinking about the Fall 2019 Rec Soccer season!
I know!! You're probably all thinking WAIT!!! It's only June! How can you POSSIBLY be thinking about September now? The kids are still in school ... it's not even summer yet! Why are you rushing things??
Well ... this is the time of year that we start thinking about what happens in the fall ... we open registration, get people signed up, and start to look at how many players we will have come Labor Day. Plus ... it's a good time to get in touch with you, the parents BEFORE everybody goes off and starts their summer vacations, where soccer registration will be the furthest thing from their mind!
With ALL of that said ... here we go!
There are three recreational soccer programs players can register and participate this fall given their age, commitment and skill level:
Tiny Tots (introductory level, group format, basic skills and exercise - children, typically around the age of 2 to 3)
RECREATION (non-competive soccer experience, in town, U6 to U10, approximately age 4 through 9, FALL season)
INTER-TOWN RECREATION (slightly competive soccer experience, inter-town play for U12 to U18, approximately age 10 through 17, FALL season, some potential for a separate SPRING season
Please click on the following link to register your player today!
Recreation Fee Schedule (NO increase in REC fees for the 2019 FALL season):
Tiny Tots Fee:$80.00 (after July 31 - $100) for the Fall season
Recreation Fee (In-Town and Inter-Town): $119.00 (after July 31 - $149) for the Fall season
Registration in the rec program includes a team shirt to be used for the season
All PLAYER PROFILES must be completed fully and accurately
MANDATORY: a parent email address and mobile phone number needs to be associated to a player profile for communication - Parents should not opt out of email communications if their child is registered, as this prevents ALL emails from reaching you. Please ensure that your profile information is up to date
You must pay on-line using PayPal or a credit card at the time of registration
Your player will NOT be considered registered if payment is not made
Unpaid registrations will be removed from the system and players will not be selected nor placed on a team, regardless of age or program
ALL Fees are non-refundable with the following exceptions:
FALL RECREATION: prior to August 1st
NOTE: WSA will consider reasonable requests for teammates, practice times, etc. for our In-Town recreation program but will not guarantee these requests for any reason. We are happy to make reasonable accomodations if possible, assuming they do not affect the fair and equitable assignment of team rosters.
WSA has a Code of Conduct that all players, coaches, and parents are responsible for understanding and adhering too. This is a Zero Tolerance policy for ALL coaches, players and parents at ALL times with no exceptions.
Lastly, the Windham Soccer Association relies solely on volunteers from the community to run the league. If you are interested in being a head coach or an assistant coach, please indicate so on your child’s registration form. All coaches must complete the Kid Safe form prior to coaching. Any questions regarding volunteering can be directed to the VP of Recreation, Kim Devries, at
or to the WSA President Jamie Manti,
. A coach’s clinic is often offered prior to the beginning of the season, and a professional trainer will be there to work with the various teams at their practices each week!
IMPORTANT: Please note that the number of teams offered in each Division depends directly upon the number of volunteer coaches we receive. All teams need to have a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach. Unfortunately, if we are not able to get enough coaches, we may be forced to reduce the number of teams as well as the total number of players who are able to play on a first come, first served basis.
DIVISIONS WSA: Players in the U8 through U12 divisions will play as part of the Windham Soccer Association travel program. Each team will have two practices per week, with games typically on weekends. Teams are eligible to play in up to two tournaments or jamborees, one in spring, one in fall. All practices will have a professional trainer to work with the players. Tryouts are free of charge for U8 through U12, but players must be registered.
SCSC: Players in the U13 through U15 divisions typically form our South Central Soccer Club travel teams. Each team is led by a professional coach, will have three practices per week (players are expected to attend at least two), with games typically on weekends. Teams are eligible to play in up to two tournaments or jamborees, one in spring, one in fall. There is a $20 fee for tryouts for all players that are U13 and above, and players must be registered.
Note: We will hold tryouts in Fall 2019 for our 2020 Spring only senior teams (2004 and older).
Evaluations will take place over two sessions for each age group - the dates for Session 1 and Session 2 are listed below and are ALL at the rear of GRIFFIN PARK. During those two days, our professional trainers and coaches will be evaluating players on their age appropriate skills and abilities during different drills, as well as their understanding of the game during various scrimmages. Players must attend both days ... if there are any issues, please contact Chris Burke, VP of Travel, directly. On the days of your evaluations, please check in at the table under the pavillion.
Once evaluations are concluded, all teams will be formed in accordance with the WSA policy on Travel Team Formation (no exceptions) and announced after the conclusion of all games and playoffs for the Spring 2018 NHSL Season.
Players will be notified by email of their status. Players accepted on a team will be provided a link to register, submit payment for all travel fees, and will shortly after be provided a link to order their uniforms and their designated uniform number. Uniforms are not included in the cost of registration. Only new players to the program will need new uniforms for the 2019.2020 seasons.
Travel Fee Schedule:
- U8-U12 (WSA): $445, for the Fall 2019- Spring 2020 seasons
- U13+ (South Central): $625, for the Fall 2019- Spring 2020 seasons
- Travel Uniforms: cost is approximately $100 (ordering is the sole responsibility of parents through at the www.soccer.com Windham Soccer store. Your player will be assigned a specific jersey number that must be used when ordering).
Note: Travel fees increased slightly this year due to increased league fees, tournament fees, and other fees. It is our intent to hold the fees at the same level for the next two years.
Important Travel Notes:
- NO player (existing or new) is guaranteed a roster spot regardless of prior team placement. This registration is for tryouts/evaluations - attending tryouts does not guarantee any player a roster spot
- Travel team selection does not consider requests for specific coaches or teammates in the selection or in the assignment process as rosters and coaches are subject to change.
- Practice times and games are determined by WSA and can change at any time
- Uniforms are good for 2 full years (2 full Spring-Fall seasons). We will be completing the first year of this two-year cycle in June 2019.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL PROGRAMS: WSA has a Code of Conduct that all players, coaches, and parents are responsible for understanding and adhering too.
This is a Zero Tolerance policy for ALL coaches, players and parents at ALL times with no exceptions.
We look forward to seeing you on the pitch ... good luck to all!
