This tryout is to allow WSA to fill open roster positions and evaluate additional players for potential new team expansion. 

Overview

Each potential player needs to be evaluated by our professional coaches and registered prior to tryouts.  Registering will guarantee your child a spot in our evaluations but does NOT guarantee any player a spot on a travel team roster.  Please note that not all players will be selected for the competitive travel teams based upon their age appropriate skill level, knowledge of the game, and ability to participate and contribute positively to the team.  Roster spots are not assigned based upon specific coaches or teammates. Additionally as this is a supplemental tryout looking to fill in open roster spots, in some cases, even if a player meets or exceeds the evaluation criteria, acceptance may be deferred due existing roster space not being available. 

Please note: This tryout is only for players not already registered and on a roster in the WSA Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Travel Soccer Program.

Eligibility

Eligible players are born between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2019.  

Tryout Schedule

If your son or daughter is interested in the competitive TRAVEL soccer program they must attend tryouts on the designated day and time for their age group/birth year.  

Monday, 10/27
- Boys U8 & U9 (2019, 2018, & 2017) Monday 10/27 4:30-6pm @ Griffin Park Field 4
- Boys & Girls U13 & Older (2013+) Monday 10/27 6-7:30pm @ Griffin Park Field 4
Tuesday, 10/28 
- Girls U8 & U9 (2019, 2018, & 2017) Tuesday 10/28 4:30-6pm @ Griffin Park Field 4
- Boys & Girls U10 - U12 (2016, 2015, 2014) Tuesday 10/28 6-7:30pm @ Griffin Park Field 4

Location: Griffin Park - Rear fields

Rain or Shine; Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather

Fees

As this is only for the spring season, fees will be prorated accordingly if invited to join the program. (U12 and younger: $320 - Spring Only;  U13 and older: $400 - Spring Only; plus uniform purchased separately)
