ABOUT WINDHAM SOCCER ASSOCIATION (WSA)

We are dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and healthy environment for kids to develop both athletically and socially.  We work to support player development and to help our players grow as lifelong athletes and teammates.  Building friendships, having fun, and growing a love for soccer are as important as the work we do to ensure our athletes can be competitive wherever they play when they graduate from our program.

Although soccer is at the heart of what we do, it is paramount to our organization to build a membership that flourishes by being essential to the larger community.  We work to build relationships with local charity organizations, our Windham school soccer teams and other town associations.

WSA is a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization.  Our Board of Directors meets monthly and is always in search of new people to help build our program.

Recreational Soccer

Tiny Tots

This program is all about the fun!  Tots will receive a shirt just like the big kids, but there is no pressure of team competition.  Instead, the focus will be on introducing soccer to our youngest members and fostering a love for the game.

Boys and Girls U6-U10

Recreational soccer is a co-ed, inclusive space for all children who want to learn the game or for those who already have a passion for playing.  Our coaches work to create a fun environment where every child plays in every game equitably and there are no official win-loss records.  Practices are once a week with one game usually on Saturday mornings.

Boys and Girls U12-U18

For those in the older age brackets (U12, U15 & U18), WSA participates in an Inter-Town League with surrounding towns, such as Derry, Merrimack, Hampstead and Salem.  As the number of players available at these older age groups tends to be smaller, this provides those who want to continue to play an opportunity to do so in a slightly more competitive environment.  Teams are still open to all age-eligible players, practices are still held in Windham and games will either be here in Windham or at field of the other participating towns.

Windham Travel Soccer

The goal of Windham Travel Soccer is to offer a more competitive option to our members who are dedicated to playing at a higher level.  Our teams compete as part of the NH Soccer League and are willing to make a greater commitment to honing their soccer skills and to being part of a more intense soccer environment.

Windham Travels starts with our U8 EDP (Early Development Program) division and goes up to U12.  The schedule consists of 2 practices per week led by a professional trainer or qualified coach and 1 to 2 games per weekend during the season.  Teams also play in tournaments during the season and may be eligible to compete in league playoffs.

South Central Soccer Club (SCSC)

The SCSC program is a regional soccer club created in partnership with the WSA.  It is designed for players from U13 through U15 from Windham and the surrounding communities who want to continue to developing and playing with like players.  In the Spring, we are often able to host a Senior Team for those players who want to continue to play after the high school season has ended.

The SCSC program has 2 practices per week that are all led by a professional coach/trainer and will have 1 to 2 games played each weekend.

Winter Clinics, School Vacation Camps and Summer Camps

WSA is committed to offering training for our players throughout the year.  Through a partnership with Brazilian Art Soccer Training and Challenger Sports, we are able to host a number of clinics and camps during the off season to help our players maintain the skills they have built during our Fall and Spring seasons.
